Mats

I have mats that anyone can borrow. I go to city 3 times a week and can buy you one as well if you wish to practice at home! Contact me if you want one!

Notes about Starting Yoga

Class always starts on time, so please do not arrive late.
Mats, blocks and straps are available. Do bring your own if you have. Blankets are a useful prop. Please bring your own.
If you use the mats provided, please clean after each class with mat wash and paper towel.
At least one hour BEFORE class, make sure you have eaten something that is high in carbs and low in fat.
Drink lots of water during the day before class, but not during.
Withing 15 minutes or so after class, you should eat something high in carbs and low in fat, as well as a little protein.
Wear comfortable clothes - layer tops. The room will warm up. Barefoot or socks.

***PLEASE NOTE: These classes are for healthy people only. If you have ANY health issues, you must consult with your doctor BEFORE coming. This is for your safety as well as the other participants. If there is something that I need to know about your ability to practice yoga, please tell me before class. Each pose has a modification that makes it available to all of us!

January 19 Intro Class & Sign Up Night

On January 19th at 7 pm, there will be a FREE Intro to Yoga class as well as registration for our 10 week session starting Thursday, January 26th.

You will find out what you need to do, bring and anything else you may want to discover about Yoga!

All classes will be held at the Loreburn Senior Centre.
**All ages and levels are always welcome:)

2012 Loreburn Schedule

Classes will be held for 10 weeks every Thursday starting January 26th from 7-8 pm.
The rest of the classes are Feb.2, 9, 16, 23, March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.
Any classes that are cancelled for any reason, will be made up by March 31st.

Cost is $100 for 10 weeks. Full payment is required to reserve your space. There are no refunds - credit only. Drop in is $15 per class with limited availability due to registered participants taking priority. Cash or cheque only.

There must be a minimum of 10 registered participants for this 10 week session to go forward.

Winter Schedule

There is no set schedule yet.
No classes will begin until January 2012.
There is no set place that I will be teaching either! Leaving it all up in the air for now.
Will be teaching in Delisle and Loreburn and no idea of which days of the week.
So...not much news here!

Have a wonderful Fall and I will post again with more definitive answers as they arrive!
